She was raised there with her parents and three sisters until they relocated to Bakersfield where she graduated from high school in 1990. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University, Fresno, she went on to earn a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic West in the Bay Area. While enrolled in chiropractic school, she met the love of her life, Dr. Stone Beck. They married in 1998 and moved to Fresno in 2000 to open their clinic, Tower Chiropractic. Elisabeth loved spending time with her husband, her parents, her sisters, her sister-in-law, her two dogs Mojito and Carlo whom she called her "boys", and countless family and friends.

    Elisabeth is survived by her husband, Dr. Stone Beck; her parents, Rodolfo and Martha Flores; her sisters, Veronica Flores, Claudia Flores and Martha Flores; father-in-law, Daryl Beck and his wife Sherrie; mother-in-law Joy Rassmussen; sister-in-law, Kerri L. Beck and her partner Mary Quinn; and many other beloved family members in California, Texas and Mexico. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 1525 E. Saginaw Way in Fresno on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church, 1400 East Saginaw Way in Fresno on Thursday, March 10, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. WHITEHURSTSullivan, Burns & Blair Chapel1525 E.     Funeral service for Karen K. Larson 63, of Bowman, ND formerly of Dickinson, ND will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Hillside Baptist Church in Dickinson with Mike Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2007 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, with a prayer service taking place at 7:00 p.m.

    Karen passed away Monday, May 21, 2007 at Southwest Healthcare Services in Bowman, ND. Karen Kay Larson was born June 24, 1943 in Dickinson, ND to Frank and Doris (Zander) Kubik. She grew up on the family ranch southwest of Manning, ND and attended country school for eight years before finishing her high school in Dickinson and graduating from Campus High School. Karen attended Dickinson State University for two years before she married David A. Larson on August 10, 1963 at St. John Lutheran Church in Dickinson. The couple spent their first year of marriage in Alaska where Dave had a job teaching. They returned home the following year to work on the ranch near Manning. It was here that they raised their family until the fall of 1980 when they moved to town.

    The family lived in both Dickinson and Bowman over the next 26 years. Karen's close relationship with the Lord was very evident in her daily devotions, prayer, and how she shared her life with others. Karen truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and taking part in various community activities such as the choir.

    She is survived by her husband, Dave of Bowman; both parents, Frank and Doris Kubik of Dickinson; two daughters, Julie (Greg) Schoneck of Minot, ND; Nancy (Michael) Woods of Powell, WY; a brother, Jeff Kubik of Dickinson, ND; a sister Jane (Les) Schneider of Manning, ND; six grandchildren, Jesse, Levi and Sarah Schoneck; Philip, Joy and Jonah Woods; and 12 nieces and nephews, Amanda (James) Smith; Matthew Kubik; Wendy Schneider; and Becky (Heath) Braun. Karen was preceded in death by an infant sister.

    Laudie J. Kostelecky, 76, Dickinson, died Saturday, June 5, 2004 after a two year illness at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2004, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Dickinson, with the Reverend James Braaten celebrating.

    Interment will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson.

    Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at Price-Murphy Funeral Home, with a rosary and prayer service at 7 p.m. led by Deacon Ray Jilek. Visitation will continue on Thursday at Price-Murphy Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

    Laudie J. Kostelecky was born December 16, 1927 in Stark County to Joe and Agnes Kostelecky.

    He married Gladys Luptak on May 18, 1948. He farmed south of Dickinson until 1985.

    Laudie loved farming and continued helping his sons with the farm until 2002 when his illness kept him homebound. Being extremely talented with his hands in building and woodworking, he was always there with a helping hand. If we needed something and could explain it for him, he could build it. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren filled his life with joy.

    He was so loved and will be missed terribly by his surviving wife, Gladys; eight children, Geri Kostelecky, Billings, MT, Karen Weiler (late Kevin), Dickinson, Gaylene (Galen) Bren, Bismarck, Dale (Rose) Kostelecky, Dickinson, Dean (Betsy) Kostelecky, Kremling, CO, Daniel (Darlene) Kostelecky, Dickinson, Lonnie (Friend Lisa) Kostelecky, South Heart, Laurie (Fiancee Karl Prince) Kostelecky, Broomfield, CO; 13 grandchildren, Terri and Kim Bren, Kristie Weiler, Todd Weiler (friend Rachelle), Michelle (Travis) Leintz, Lisa Kostelecky (friend Justin), Kayla and Kyle Kostelecky, Eric Bren, Nate, Dillon, Kacie, Emily Kostelecky; two great-grandchildren, Brandyn Schmidt and Allison Leintz; one step grandchild, Jenny Worlie; one brother, Edmund (Lena) Kostelecky, Missoula, MT, one sister, Margaret (Robert) Krenz, New England.

    He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joe and Agnes and one brother Ben.
